Unleashing Amazonian Artistry: Denilson Baniwa's Visionary Journey to Redefine the Americas at the Getty Center.
The Getty Research Institute invited Amazonian/Brazilian artist Denilson Baniwa to create Reinventing the Américas: Construct. Erase. Repeat., a multimedia exhibition featuring video artworks, murals and colorful displays to challenge European representations of the Americas. The exhibition asked viewers to reexamine the old paradigm of European exceptionalism and the “exotic other."
Heroic collaborated with the Getty Research Institute to shape and build the digital exhibition and marketing strategy for this monumental curation.
